Irish France Magazine

FaÍlte go dtÍ an h-IF Magazine… Welcome to IF Magazine. I will start by saying that that will be the first and last bit of paddy-whackery that you'll get from this section of our web-site. Let's try and get away from the romantic harpings spewed forth by expatriate barflies of an Ireland that has long gone, and focus in on what we are as an integral part of the "United States of Europe", weather we like it or not.

Being the nomadic, brash and tee-totally challenged race that we are, it is only natural that we have a helluvalot of axes to grind, music to be heard and imagination to be revealed. Through the IF Magazine we will bring articles, reviews, interviews, stories and opinions from the people and events that matter to readers both in France and Ireland.

Our culture has permeated all facets of creativity around the world, and it is in this good knowledge that we are developing our IF Music and Arts sections into the flagships of our existence. Interviews with groups and performers are our main focus, but similarly album, theatre and concert reviews will be an integral part of both sections.

Through IF People, we will give you the low-down on new personalities that are making headlines in both France and Ireland, and involve the opinions of the readers to forge your solid involvement in the growth and development of IF Magazine.

We are also proud to introduce an exclusively Northern Irish section within our on-line publication that will give readers a wry and sardonic view of modern Ulster. This should be thought of as a supplement to the magazine, as we feel that the North - as an integral part of our island - demands the recognition and respect to be seen having it's own distinct identity.

Finally, I hope that you will enjoy watching IF Magazine expand and evolve within Irish France, and that you are entertained by its contents and images, and inspired by what we give you.
